Check before you get scammed

Reports describing a request for an upfront payment, token amount, or deposit to 'hold' an item, listing, or opportunity that was never delivered as described.

Reports about contact details (phone, email, chat handle) that impersonate a real brand, company, or official channel to gain trust before a payment request.

Reports about property listings that turn out to be nonexistent, already sold/rented, or misrepresented to attract inquiries.

Reports about investment or crypto-trading platforms introduced through an online relationship or unsolicited contact, showing fabricated gains and blocking withdrawals.

Reports about job postings or recruiter contact that request registration, training, or verification fees before an offer, or where the promised job never materializes.

Reports about instant-loan apps, UPI collect-requests disguised as refunds, or other payment flows where the reported outcome was money lost rather than received.

Reports about marketplace transactions where an advance payment was requested and the item was never delivered, or a payment request was disguised as an incoming payment.

Reports about websites, pop-ups, or messages that imitate a legitimate service to collect payment, OTPs, or remote access under false pretenses.
